My Birth and Early Days

Hello, my name is Coolie, and I am a fan. I was born in a factory with many other fans. We were all excited to be made and to start our journey in homes, offices, and other places. I remember the day I was packed in a big box. It was dark inside, but I knew that soon I would find a new home.

My New Home

One sunny morning, my box was opened by a kind family. They were so happy to see me. They took me out carefully and fixed me on the ceiling of their living room. I was excited to start my new life. The children in the house were very curious and kept looking at me. They even gave me a name, Coolie, because they knew I would keep them cool.

My Daily Routine

Every day, I would wake up early in the morning when the family needed me. They would turn on my switch, and I would start spinning my blades to create a nice breeze. My job was to make sure everyone in the room felt comfortable and cool. Here are some of the things I did every day:

  • Spinning my blades to create a cool breeze
  • Making a gentle sound that helped people relax
  • Keeping the room cool during hot summer days

Helping the Family

I loved my job because I was very helpful to the family. During the hot summer months, they would sit under me and enjoy the cool air. Sometimes, they would have lunch in the living room just to feel my breeze. The children would do their homework under my cool air, and the grandparents would take naps. I felt very proud to be so useful.

Special Moments

There were many special moments in my life. Here are a few that I remember fondly:

  1. Birthday Parties: The children had their birthday parties in the living room, and I made sure everyone was comfortable.
  2. Family Gatherings: During festivals and family gatherings, the house was full of people, and I worked extra hard to keep everyone cool.
  3. Rainy Days: On rainy days, when it was humid, I would help to dry the clothes that were hung in the living room.

My Friends

I was not alone in the house. There were other appliances too. My best friends were:

Appliance Job
Refrigerator Keeping food fresh and cool
Washing Machine Cleaning clothes
Television Providing entertainment

We all worked together to make the family’s life easier and more comfortable.

Challenges I Faced

Life was not always easy for me. I faced some challenges too:

  • Dust: Dust would sometimes settle on my blades, making it hard for me to spin properly.
  • Power Cuts: During power cuts, I couldn’t work, and I felt sad because I couldn’t help the family.
  • Old Age: As I grew older, my motor became weak, and I couldn’t spin as fast as before.

My Retirement

One day, the family decided to buy a new fan. I understood that it was time for me to retire. They took me down and placed me in the storeroom. Even though I was no longer in the living room, I was happy because I had many wonderful memories of helping the family. I knew that I had done my job well and that they would always remember me as Coolie, the fan that kept them cool.
